Why Membership?

Every year, we set course to care for our vineyards and craft wines that are pure expressions of the vintage which could only come from our dynamic region. All of this is done with our Members in mind first.

Becoming a Member is the highest form of trust in our team, our vineyard selection, and our process. Wine is special. There is no closer relationship between a winery and their members than any other type of company.

To ensure our Members are empowered to receive our wines in the schedule that suits their preference, Matthews offers two types of Memberships. Each type of Membership is detailed below, and both all members enjoy the same additional membership benefits.

Details

1.
What does it cost to Join the wine club?

Matthews membership is complimentary.

2.
How and when will I be billed?

Matthews will keep your credit card secured on file and will automatically charge your card for the wines and applicable taxes. You will be notified via email with a two-week reminder and a two-day reminder prior to your card being charged for each release. This is your opportunity to make changes to your allocation prior to your card processing date.

3.
How many Releases per year?

First Access members receive 6 - 8 allocations per year. Custom Allocation members receive allocations every other month.

Billing

We let you know in advance when your credit card will be charged, what to expect in your shipment, and when to expect it. Automatic billing creates a seamless ordering process (all billing information is kept in our secure ordering system).

Shipping

*In-network states: CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, MN, MO, MT, NC, NH, NV, NY, OH, OR, TX, VA & WA
*The following out-of-network states will be charged a flat $30 per shipment: AR, AZ, CT, DE, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, NE, NJ, NM, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, WI, WV & WY
*AK and HI are shipped 2-day Air and will receive a 35% discount on shipping rates of 3 bottles or more
*Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to AL, KY, MS, ND, UT & VT

Wine shipments are scheduled for Ground shipping, unless otherwise requested. We reserve the right to hold shipments due to temperature conditions until conditions change for favorable shipping. All members must take full responsibility for the condition of the wines as received if you choose not to follow the shipping guidelines as recommended by Matthews in regard to temperature conditions. Matthews will not ship to PO Boxes. Unfortunately, we do not cover the cost of returned and reshipped wine. All reshipped packages will have standard shipping charges applied. Any additional shipping charges incurred due to misdirected wines will be the members responsibility. All wine orders must be placed and received by adults 21 years or age or older. We do not ship to states where prohibited by law.

Pick-up policy

Wine Club allocations are guaranteed to be available for pick up in our Tasting Room for 60 days past the wine’s release date. After 60 days, if the wine is no longer available, you will have winery credit in the amount charged for your Wine Club allocation to use in selecting replacement bottles from any of the currently available wines. If you don’t think you can make it into the Tasting Room during the 60- day window, then remember that shipping of 3 bottles or more is always free for Wine Club members with an in-network shipping address. This policy applies to “pick up” allocations only. Wine Club members who choose to have their allocations shipped are always guaranteed to receive their allocation.
